Frequently Asked Questions

Toxicological science one can depend on for quality decision that matters in environmental and public health. PRO provides scientific basis for activities and policies that promote health or lead to the prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases in sub-Sahara Africa SSA. PRO generates, interprets, and shares toxicological information about potentially hazardous substances in various environmental matrices. As PRO aspires to be a leader in SSA, PRO evaluates environmental chemicals for potential human health and ecological risks assessments in addition to sourcing cheaply available natural antidotes in management of poisoning.

Interested researchers whose work aligns with our areas of research interest should write to us via PRInig@gmail.com about their proposed work and how PRO can help them meet their objectives, while also indicating their affiliations and academic status. Proposed work and research projects can be engaged through collaborations. If a project does not align with PRI's overall research interest, there may still be the opportunity to work in PRO laboratory by paying a minimal subscription fee.

The PRO supports projects related to toxicology, neuroscience, and public health. The laboratory is interested in employing different models to study biological function. Further details are listed under ‘Research’.
